Pumpkin Patch!!

Wow!! Did we have fun today!! I had never been to that pumpkin patch before. We just found it researching the internet, but I am so glad that we did! Thanks to all the parents and grandparents that went. The weather couldn't have been better, and we had a wonderful time!!
I am working on pics now. I'll add them ASAP. I just wanted to remind you all that our party will be Friday at 10. Your child can wear or bring their costume. Parents are invited and encouraged to dress up as well. The parents working on this party have been working hard, and it sounds like MUCH fun!!
I am so sorry I have been so out of it with all of my family being sick. I appreciate your understanding.

Railroad Days

Hi everyone!! I hope hope hope that I will be back tomorrow. Josie is feeling better. No fever since the middle of the night last night. Marlowe is out of town, so I'm my only option!! I do apologize for having to be out. I never like it when I am away from my babies!!
I know the girls have made every effort to let you know about Railroad Days. I want to do that one more time, so that I can know that all of our bases are covered. If you have things you can drop off tomorrow, that is awesome. Otherwise, I will be there part of the day Friday, and you can drop them off then. If you know you will be coming Friday, please let me know, so we can coordinate. Of course, if you are coming Saturday morning, you can bring items then. Here is what Devon gave me. PLEASE let me
know asap if you will not be able to bring what you are listed as bringing so that someone can cover it. Thanks
If you are bringing a batch of sweets, please wrap them or put them in baggies 2 small or 1 large to a bag. There are not many people working, and they will not have time to sort these on Saturday.

If any of you have a big cooler we could use for that day, please let me know. We need at least 4.

Getting ready for a short week!!

I hope you all had a great weekend. I keep forgetting to tell you that I have all of the pics on Snapfish! I will try to remember to put them all into a group and send an invitation to view. I know you can see them on the slide show, and, if you're on Facebook, you can see them there. However, if you have them on Snapfish, you can order any of them that you'd like to.
I wanted to remind you that Thursday and Friday are our Fall Break, so we will not have school those 2 days. However, Saturday is the day we are working for Railroad Days. I know that many of you will not be able to work, but I hope all of you will help with this. If you have not signed up to send anything, please check with the teachers in the morning to see what you have been assigned. Even if you are going to be out of town, there are ways you can help. We need cases of drinks, water, coffee, mustard, buns and more. There are lots of ways to help.
Don't forget book orders. If you want to order, please send your order in by Wednesday of this week, so we can send those in.
We are going to talk about Christopher Columbus tomorrow, and we will continue our fall unit as well. I have a conference in Atlanta Monday, but I'll be back on Tuesday. Have a great week!!
