Welcome Back!

Wow! It was great to be back with the kiddos today! I think they were glad to see each other. We had a really good day, and we had a full house almost! We celebrated Joshua's birthday today as well.

I want to thank all of you for all of the Christmas gifts. You are so sweet to think of me like this. I appreciate my spa day more than you know!! I had planned to do it the day before we came back to school, but my kids got sick, so I missed it. I'm going to have that day soon. Thank you so much for doing that!! It was such a WONDERFUL surprise! I have to admit that I felt pretty naive when I realized that everyone knew what was going on, and I had NO clue! Ya'll are awesome!!

We got right back in the swing of things today. We are learning about snow and polar animals (Wishful thinking!!). Our story for the day was Daniel and the Lion's Den. I was able to do the TouchMath training over the holiday, and I am making a concentrated effort to be sure the kids get some practice in this AWESOME method. I think it will make such a difference as they develop math skills over the years. I sent some info home, but I would be happy to talk to you about it one on one if you're interested. Just let me know.

I am not sure what the weather is about to do. Please just tune in to TV or radio. We will do whatever Meriwether County Schools do. If I hear that we are closing, I will send email and post on Facebook.
